Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-20

Welcome to MedborgarPrep. These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using MedborgarPrep's website, study platform, learning content, practice questions, assessments, and related services ("Service").

By creating an account, purchasing access, accepting an invite, or using MedborgarPrep, you agree to these Terms.

1. About MedborgarPrep

MedborgarPrep is an independent study tool operated from Sweden.

MedborgarPrep helps users prepare for Swedish citizenship-related knowledge through learning content, practice questions, explanations, and study features.

MedborgarPrep is not affiliated with or endorsed by UHR, Migrationsverket, Skolverket, or the Swedish government.

MedborgarPrep does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that you will pass any test, receive citizenship, or receive any specific decision from an authority.

For support, you can use MedborgarPrep's support contact form or contact us by email at support@medborgarprep.com.

2. Who may use MedborgarPrep

MedborgarPrep is not intended for children under 13.

If you are under 18, you may use MedborgarPrep only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where required. Purchases must be made by someone legally allowed to make the purchase, or with any required guardian approval.

You are responsible for making sure that the information you provide to MedborgarPrep is accurate and that you can legally use and purchase the Service.

3. Accounts and security

To use certain parts of MedborgarPrep, you may need to create an account.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You must not share your login credentials with anyone else.

You are responsible for activity that happens through your account, except where caused by MedborgarPrep's own error or by circumstances outside your reasonable control.

If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us as soon as possible at support@medborgarprep.com.

5. Free invite benefit

Where available, a paid account may include the ability to invite one family member or friend to receive access without an additional payment.

The invite benefit is limited to one invited account per paid account. Once the invite is accepted, the invited account is locked and cannot be replaced, transferred, reset, sold, rotated, or reassigned.

The invited account must be a separate individual account. Login credentials must not be shared.

The invited account's access depends on the original paid account remaining active and valid. If the paid account receives a refund, chargeback, cancellation, access revocation, account deletion, or otherwise loses paid access, MedborgarPrep may remove or limit the invited account's free access.

The invited user may keep their own account and study data where technically and legally possible, but paid features may no longer be available.

MedborgarPrep may limit, suspend, or remove invite benefits in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, public sharing of invite links, resale, repeated account cycling, or attempts to bypass payment or access controls.

6. Payments

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe or another provider shown at checkout.

MedborgarPrep does not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or raw payment card details. Payment information is processed by the payment provider according to its own terms and privacy practices.

You are responsible for providing accurate payment and billing information.

7. Refunds and withdrawal rights

Paid access normally starts immediately after purchase.

Consumers may request a refund or exercise a right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase where required by law or offered by MedborgarPrep.

To request a refund or withdrawal, please use MedborgarPrep's support contact form where available, as this helps us process requests more efficiently. If you cannot access the form, you may contact support@medborgarprep.com. Where practical, you should submit the request using the email address connected to your MedborgarPrep account or purchase.

Contact support

MedborgarPrep may refuse or limit refunds in cases of suspected fraud, repeated refund abuse, chargeback abuse, account misuse, breach of these Terms, or attempts to bypass access controls.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.

8. Content accuracy and study outcomes

MedborgarPrep aims to provide useful, accurate, and reviewed study content. However, laws, public information, official procedures, and learning requirements may change, and content may contain errors or become outdated.

MedborgarPrep may use public and official sources as references, but the content is independently created and is not official material.

You should verify important legal, migration, citizenship, or authority-related information with official sources.

MedborgarPrep does not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing a test, becoming a Swedish citizen, receiving a permit, or receiving any specific authority decision.

If you find an error or unclear content, you can contact us at support@medborgarprep.com or use any report-issue feature available in the Service.

9. Personal study use only

MedborgarPrep content is licensed for your personal, non-commercial study use only.

You may use the content in your account for your own learning and may take reasonable personal notes for your own study.

You must not copy, scrape, download, publish, sell, resell, share, upload, redistribute, reproduce, adapt, or make public MedborgarPrep's paid lessons, question banks, answer options, explanations, assessments, downloadable files, screenshots, or other protected content, except where MedborgarPrep explicitly allows it.

You must not use MedborgarPrep content to create or train a competing product, dataset, quiz bank, course, study platform, or commercial service.

If MedborgarPrep provides an official download, export, or PDF, that material remains for personal study use only unless we clearly state otherwise.

10. Prohibited use

You must not misuse MedborgarPrep or use it in a way that harms the Service, other users, or MedborgarPrep.

  • share login credentials or allow others to use your account;
  • bypass, test, attack, or interfere with access controls or security systems;
  • scrape, crawl, bulk download, copy, or extract content without permission;
  • redistribute, sell, publish, or publicly share paid content;
  • use the Service for fraud, payment abuse, refund abuse, chargeback abuse, or invite abuse;
  • use MedborgarPrep to build a competing content bank, course, product, or service;
  • attempt to access another user's account, data, progress, or paid access;
  • upload or send harmful, unlawful, misleading, or abusive content through support, feedback, or report features;
  • disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service.

11. Suspension and termination

MedborgarPrep may suspend, limit, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, abused refunds or invites, shared your account, copied protected content, attempted to bypass access controls, or created risk for MedborgarPrep, other users, or the Service.

Where reasonable, MedborgarPrep may give notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue. In serious cases, we may act immediately.

Suspension or termination does not remove any mandatory consumer rights or data protection rights you may have.

12. Service availability

MedborgarPrep aims to keep the Service reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent access.

The Service may be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, security work, third-party provider issues, internet disruptions, legal requirements, force majeure events, or other circumstances.

If MedborgarPrep decides to discontinue a paid product, we will make reasonable efforts to give affected users advance notice. Where practical, we may provide a way to keep or export useful study material, such as downloadable learning material or question sets. This may not include interactive features, progress tracking, account functionality, or third-party services.

13. Changes to the Service

MedborgarPrep may update, change, improve, remove, or restructure content, features, pricing, product packaging, design, and technical systems over time.

Changes may be made to improve quality, accuracy, accessibility, security, performance, user experience, or legal compliance.

We will try to avoid changes that unfairly remove the core value of paid access, but specific content, features, and layouts may change.

14. Changes to these Terms

MedborgarPrep may update these Terms from time to time.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 14 days' notice by email, in-app notice, website notice, or another suitable method before the changes take effect.

We may make urgent changes sooner where needed for legal, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, technical, or operational reasons.

If you continue using MedborgarPrep after updated Terms take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

15. Service communications

MedborgarPrep may contact you by email or in-app message for essential service matters, including:

  • account and security notices;
  • login, authentication, or password messages;
  • purchase receipts and payment/access confirmations;
  • refund or withdrawal handling;
  • support replies;
  • important product, Terms, privacy, or legal updates;
  • serious service, security, or discontinuation notices.

Marketing emails, if used, will be handled separately from essential service communications and will follow applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.

16. Privacy and personal data

MedborgarPrep processes personal data according to its Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.

17. Third-party services

MedborgarPrep may rely on third-party services for payments, hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, support, or other technical functions.

We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control, but we choose providers with care and aim to use them in a privacy-conscious and security-conscious way.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law, except where mandatory consumer protection rules give you additional rights.

If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first using the support contact form or by email at support@medborgarprep.com so we can try to resolve it.

Contact support

Consumers may contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, ARN (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden), where applicable.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights or dispute resolution rights you have under applicable law.

Campaigns and promotional access

MedborgarPrep may run promotional campaigns that offer temporary access to paid features (for example, the Launch Campaign, which offers 3 months of full access if approved).

Campaign participation is subject to manual review. Approval is not guaranteed.

If you submit a social media username as part of a campaign, we use it only to verify that you followed the MedborgarPrep page and commented on the campaign post. See the Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

MedborgarPrep may reject requests, revoke promotional access, or end a campaign at any time, including in cases of false information, abuse, or misuse.

Campaigns may be paused, changed, or ended without notice.

MedborgarPrep is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by UHR, Migrationsverket, Skolverket, or the Swedish government.
